Class: Cephalopoda

Cephalopoda are equipped with big eyes behind a singular strong, powerful beak.  Perhaps the most well-known and easily-recognized of the Nautilidae family–the chambered nautilus shells–is the Nautilus Pompilius (Common Chambered Nautilus, L. 1758.)

The shell of this magnificent creature is white with brown stripes, much like a zebra’s.
