Sinuous Conch / Strombus sinatus
Strombus sinuatus Lightfoot
The Sinuous Conch shell is colored a creamy white with yellow-brown streaks and it has a purple aperture. The spire has knobs and the lip attached to the body whorl stretches out like a bird’s wing.
This shell is found in coral sand and shallow water.
